Admissions & Fees
You can read our whole Admission Policy below. The most important aspects are summarised here.
Entry Requirements
We want good Christian education to be available to children from all kinds of backgrounds. We will not base our decision on academic ability or financial status. Our school is open to families from other faiths or none, however, we require them to agree that they will not undermine the Christian teachings of the school.
Information Stage
The information stage is the first stage in the admission process. Parents initiate interest with us and receive the prospectus and/or other information materials. We encourage parents to seek informal conversations with the school at this stage.
Partnership with Parents
We aim to help parents fulfil their God given responsibility to bring up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. We see ourselves as in partnership with them and endeavour to be a strong tool for parents in this responsibility by providing education that is centred around a Biblical worldview.
Formal Application Stage
The formal application stage begins when an application form is submitted. Parents are then invited to an admission interview and an optional taster day. This is followed by an application review after which the parents will be informed if the application was successful.
Special Needs
While we are trying to be open to pupils of any academic ability, we must recognise that where there are some special or additional learning needs, we may not be able to meet these needs adequately. In such cases we will have discussions with parents/guardians and may have to reject the application.
Reservation Stage
If the application was successful, parents sign our enrolment contract and pay a non-refundable deposit. After this the place for their child is reserved. The last step to be completed is the completion of our enrolment forms.

Admission Policy & Procedure
1. Admission Principles
At Dóxa Theó Christian School, we want to make good Christian education available to children from all kinds of backgrounds. We will not base any admission decision based on academic ability or financial status.
As a Christian School we aim to help parents fulfil their God given responsibility to bring up their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. We enter into a partnership with parents when they enrol their child in which both parties work together to fulfil the God given mandate. It is our endeavour to be a strong tool for parents by providing education that is centred around a Biblical worldview and teaches children to learn and evaluate everything on this Biblical basis. As such, we see our responsibility primarily to Christian parents/guardians who wish to raise their children in accordance with God’s Word. Yet, we will seek to be open to families from any other or no faith if they show a commitment to supporting the school’s values and agree not to undermine any of the school’s Christian teaching.
While we are trying to be open to pupils of any academic ability, we must recognise that where there are some special/additional learning needs, we may not be able to meet these needs adequately. In such cases we will have discussions with parents/guardians and may have to reject the application.
2. Procedure
The general admission process can be broken down into three stages and looks the following:
Information Stage:
-
Parents initiate interest via email, phone or an information evening.
-
Parents receive the school prospectus and are encouraged to sign up to our newsletter.
-
Informal conversation between school and parents, children are invited to join.
Formal Application Stage:
-
Formal application form is submitted.
-
Formal application interview is conducted.
-
Optional taster day
-
Application review.
-
The application result will be sent via post and includes an enrolment contract should the outcome be positive.
-
-
Parents return the signed enrolment contract as acceptance and pay 50% of the first term’s fees as a non-refundable deposit to reserve the place.
Reservation Stage:
-
Once deposit has been received, the place is reserved.
-
Additional enrolment forms are sent to parents.
-
Once the enrolment forms have been completed and returned to the school the child may start attending and is fully enrolled.
3. Order of Admission
During the application review (step 7), the school will evaluate whether a child will receive a place at the school. While we are trying to make Christian education available to everyone, there may be cases where there are more applicants than spaces available. In such instances, the admission committee will allocate places with consideration of the following factors:
-
Siblings already enrolled in the school.
-
Demonstration of strong Christian conviction and/or agreement with the vision and values of the school.
-
Links to the school or previous classical education.
-
Date of submission of completed application forms.
The Committee will endeavour to allocate spaces fairly and in consideration of families’ circumstances and convictions, yet it may not always be possible to offer each child a space.
