Sponsorships and Bursaries
At Dóxa Theó Christian School we want children from all financial backgrounds to be able to receive a great Christian education. This is why we are actively setting up ways for their tuition to be funded. Our two main options at the moment are explained below.
Sponsorships
Become a sponsor - invest in future generations, invest in the growth of God's Kingdom.
We are aware that many families who may wish for their children to receive a Christian education are not able to afford private tuition. This is why we are aiming to establish a structure in which private sponsors commit to funding a large portion or all of the education of a child that is not their own. This involves a contractual agreement between the school, the family and the sponsor.
While this sponsorship will not depend on academic excellence, the sponsor will be updated about the child they are sponsoring e.g., through letters the child writes to them or updates the parents provide.
If you are someone who would like to sponsor a child, please contact our school office, who will be able to advise you on the process. We will then advertise for a sponsored space or contact parents who have registered their interest but require financial support.
Sponsorship can range from covering all tuition fees to covering a portion of the fees for one or more children. While donors to our hardship fund or general running costs may withdraw their support at any point, a sponsor will commit to providing this support for a set period of time.
Please contact our school office for more information if you want to sponsor or if you are a family who may require sponsorship.
Hardship Fund
Tuition Bursary
Our tuition bursary is designed for families whose children are enrolled at our school, who are going through financial hardship for a period of time. This may be that one of the parents has lost their job, is suffering from severe illness or they have experienced significant financial losses due to accidents or natural disasters.
In such cases, we endeavour to be able to use our 'hardship fund', the tuition bursary, to help families cover the tuition fees for a temporary period of time.
The fund is made up of donations from generous supporters who wish that their funds may be used to ensure each child's tuition is covered even when difficulties arise.
If you wish to donate to the hardship fund, you can do so here, or by contacting our school office for more information and our bank details.
The money donated here, will be received by the school and put aside for particular use for the hardship funds. If you wish to donate to the general running costs of the school, you can do so on our support us pages.
