ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Dóxa Theó Christian School was established over the course of 2024 by members of Grace Baptist Church Aberdeen. The school is founded on the conviction that children should be brought up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). It is our aim to support, uphold and apply the Biblical instructions to fathers and mothers in this responsibility of raising their children.
We aim to start teaching our first pupils in January 2025.
Our curriculum is grounded on Reformed doctrine and we are working towards establishing a Classical Christian School.
Dóxa Theó Christian School
School
Dóxa Theó Christian School is an independent school, offering education across the primary stages. We are working in a composite class setting, starting with an initial intake of maximum of 15 pupils.
Facilities
We are located at 7 Don Place, AB24 2SF, using the building of Grace Baptist Church Aberdeen. For the initial stages the congregation and the school will share the premises. The congregation is set to move into their new building in the Spring/Summer of 2025. Then the building will exclusively used by the school.
Curriculum
Our curriculum aims to be a Classical Christian curriculum, as such it is rigorous, teacher led and student oriented. It is a knowledge-based curriculum which seeks to captivate and inspire the imaginations of our students and thus develops their skills for their future.
You can find out more about our curriculum on our Parent Information pages.
Here are some helpful resources on the topic of Christian Education and why it is important in today's world. One of our Board members, Pastor John-William Noble, has spoken about this topic on several occasions.
